Special X'mas Volunteer Event at Children Orphanage in JB – 20th Dec (Saturday) 9:00 a.m.
Christmas is a time for caring and sharing.
Let’s share our joy and happiness this Christmas season with children at the Orphanage and spend a meaningful X’mas season together!
It's weekend! Let's getaway to JB Johor Bahru for a Day with visit to Children Orphanage. This trip will bring you away from the bustling city life and feel the Christmas season!
The main feature of this trip is to visit a children orphanage and celebrate X'mas with them. We will be distributing some food/stationery/gift to them and do some mingling with the children, as part of our monthly volunteer efforts towards the less fortunate.
Participants will be able to know more new friends "in-depth" through this activity as it is a full day event, which allows more time for mingling and chatting. While at the same time, doing a good cause for less fortunate children. Why not show a good side of you ?

Meeting Time & Place:
i) 9:00 am at Tanjong Pagar MRT station, or
ii) by 9:45 am at Woodlands Checkpoint
Cost: $55 (includes donation for the X'mas event, transport, tipping for driver and guide, registration fee)
Important: Please ensure that your passport has a validity of at least 6 months from date of departure.
Itinerary (subject to changes):
i) 9:00am : Assemble at Tanjong Pagar MRT for attendance taking and board the coach.
ii) 9:45 a.m. Customs clearance via Woodlands Checkpoint. Those not meeting us at Tanjong Pagar MRT can meet us at Woodlands Checkpoint, by 9:45am.
iii) 11:00 a.m. After custom clearance, proceed for lunch (self expenses) at KSL City Mall. We will have a simple facilitation for participants to interact with each other. Then we will go shopping/packing for Children X'mas gift together.
iv) 1:00 p.m. After lunch, we will proceed for the key purpose of the trip, visit to Children Orphanage. At the Orphanage, we will celebrate X'mas with children. We have arranged a Santa Claus clown to play games and give out balloons / lollipop to the children. We will present X'mas gifts for the children, sing X'mas songs together, and mingle/chat/games with them. Caring and befriending session.
v) 4:30 p.m. After our meaningful activity at Children Orphanage, it is time for X'mas Celebration among volunteers! We will proceed for our volunteer X'mas celebration dinner (self expenses) with gift exchange at Aeon Terbrau. Time will be given for shopping the gift for exchange, or you can bring along a gift SGD $10 to $15 (must be food item).
vi) Around 9:30 p.m. Back in Singapore. The coach will do a first stop at Kranji MRT, and then to Tanjong Pagar MRT.
Registration and Payment Procedure:
1) Please send me an email: [email protected] with your Name, Gender, Mobile number, Email Address.
2) After I acknowledged and approved your registration, you may do a fund-transfer to the following account:
* DBS Bank A/C: 001-3-061341 (Savings Plus)
* Please do the transaction from the same bank (e.g. DBS/POSB to DBS).
* If fund-transfer was done through ATM, please keep the transaction receipt and bring it on the day of event. Avoid ATMs that run out of receipts.
* For transaction via Internet Banking, please ensure that it's an Immediate Transfer.
3) After you are done with transaction, please SMS or email to me the following details in 30 minutes:
i) your Name
ii) transaction date and time
iii) transacted amount
iv) If paying for your friends, please provide their details as well
I will then send you a confirmation email or sms for the event after your payment is received and verified by me.
Please Note:
All the above itineraries and conditions are subject to change at any time. There will be no refund for absentees or if you decide not to attend. No refund or exchange can be made for transportation, donation, facilitation or any other services not utilised. On the day of event, there will be no refund and no rebate for alteration of schedule or cancellation of event due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
